I am a Registered Autism Service Provider and Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). I hold a Master of Arts in Education from UBC, with a specialization in Autism and Developmental Disabilities. I am passionate about using evidence-based practices to teach diverse learners new skills that benefit their quality of life in a meaningful way. I have been supporting children and adults with special needs in various settings since 2004, including: private homes, the community, residential/day programs, and schools.
I currently practice as a private behaviour analyst and special education consultant for children with autism in Squamish. This includes: designing intervention plans for home teams based on assessment data, supporting behaviour interventionists and parents with implementation of the intervention plans, some 1:1 intervention implementation, and consultation with local schools/preschools on child-specific programming and addressing challenging behaviours.
I have been a resident of Squamish since August 2009, and love living here with my husband Mike and our cats, Franklin and Beans.
